We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect and share information when you access and use the service including our websites broadvoicenetwork.com/, mybilling.broadvoicenetwork.com/, mybilling.your–domain.com/, online demonstrations, and any online interfaces used by our customers (collectively, the “service”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information our customers may collect, process or share when using the service.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect and process information which you provide directly to us when you use or interact with our websites or the service, including when you make information requests, The types of personal information we may collect directly from you include names, email addresses, phone numbers, information about the type of services required, credit card payment information, as well as any communications, inquiries, contact or other information you choose to provide during your use of the service and related billing or technical support. When you provide personal information, we will only use this information for the specific reason for which it is provided.

We keep track of your activity in relation to our websites or the service, and performance metrics related to your use of the websites or the service. For example, when you use the service, we may collect:

  • Traffic data about the communications that you provide through the Service (such as calls, audio or video conferencing,) to enable us to bill for those communications effectively and efficiently.
  • Log data when you use the service or websites including Internet Protocol (“IP”) address.
  • Call Detail Records of data produced by a telephone call or other telecommunications transactions provided via the service. The record contains various attributes of the call, such as time, duration, completion status, source number and destination number, VoIP origination and/or termination vendor connecting the call.
  • Emails and other communications with us.
  • Billing data, which includes any payment data.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not designed for use by children under the age of 18. BROADVOICE NETWORK® does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 18. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, you can alert us at customerservice@broadvoicenetwork.com

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
